About On Your Mark

On Your Mark started in 2017 as one of the first guides to everything happening around the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference — the week that had quietly grown from one invitation-only event into fifty conferences and ninety receptions spread across downtown San Francisco.

It's published by Big4Bio, which has covered the U.S. life science ecosystem daily since 2015 across eight regions: Boston, the SF Bay Area, San Diego, Philadelphia, New York, the Capital Region, Los Angeles and Seattle.

Anyone can generate an event list now. What's hard is the part that requires asking: the invite-only dinners, the schedule that moved last Tuesday, the reception that was announced three weeks out and never made anyone's agenda. That's the work here, and it's why every listing carries a date showing when we last checked it.
